Balance: The Key To Your Total Success.

Let’s face it, small business owners are addicted to their missions. They love to compete and to continue to raise the bar, they hang on tenaciously when barriers or obstacles present themselves, never giving up and always being willing to sacrifice themselves over and over for the benefit of the mission, the vision, the goals and objectives.

This is good… maybe.

Unfortunately, the flip side of this attitude and commitment is the price one’s family pays, and the price one individually pays as sacrifice, is the order of the day for everything outside of the business arena for many, many small business owners.

You allocate hundreds of hours to your business, depriving yourself of a life outside the business and deprive your family of a life with you. You sacrifice your paycheck when necessary, depriving your family of necessary funds, forcing stress and denying them of the lifestyle they deserve. You forego vacations, little league games, doing homework with your kids, and on it goes… all sacrifices in the name of your business priorities.

In a word, this is a life out of balance. Balance is the key to successful living. Balance is making certain that there is adequate time and money for all the things that are important in your life, your family and yourself, and your personal life outside of the business arena.

Balance, balance, balance. There is time for everything. Break your addiction to your business life and open the door for other important aspects of your life: your family, your personal development, going to the gym, reading, learning, exploring, having fun… living outside of the business arena.

Balance. This is the secret path to total success and harmony in your life and it is a necessary consideration. Start slow, make commitments to your family and yourself and keep them. Work towards a more balanced life and you will achieve more than you ever imagined.

Try it, you will like it! This works for long-term success in your life, not just your business.
